Clarification Top 50 prospect payout

This actually dawned on me this morning. When THN releases their top 50 prospects, which has a payout in the league, it will include the likes of Eric Johnson etc. from the current draft class, of which no-one has the rights to in the BRHL2.

What we will do is it will be the top 50 prospects that are in the BRHL (the THN list goes up to 100 so we will be able to determine the top 50 BRHL2ers.

Just thought I'd throw this out there before they name their top prospects.

I'm not sure I understand. You say the list goes up to 100, which prospects does it include and when is the list released?

When I asked Eric he told me it would be the February release of HF's Top 50 prospects and those guys all belong to BRHL2 teams.

Has nothing to do with HF. As it states in the rules it's based on the THN (the Hockey News) top 50 prospect report that comes out during each NHL season. *quick note, i just checked the rule sit erronously states TSN not THN, thats a typo*

They focus on the prospects who at the time are NOT in the NHL, they actually have a list of 100, but focus more on the top 50. That is the list I am referring to.

Ah alright, yeah I was confused with the TSN.
So basically it's the top 50 prospects drafted before 2006 out of the list of 100 that will be used?

I believe the Hockey News only rates the top 75 prospects.... but hopefully that will still be enough to get 50 out of the BRHL2.

That will be close.  There may be more than 25 from this past draft...  should have a contingency plan just in case?
