Maybe a bit of a stupid and random question, but are we going to be having manually imputted rest days before or during the playoffs?
I mean, will there be any manually inputted rest days before the playoffs or between rounds, or do we just go right on through to the end of the playoffs and you get your rest days if you win a series early.
Just trying to figure out how much depth I may need.
Thanks

Yeah I think a few rest days would be nice so that every team can play at or near their top level

I don't want to see any rest days, or perhaps I should say that at most, whatever the real number of days are between the end of the season and the playoffs. Definitely not between playoff series as there typically isn't in real life normally.
I don't want to see my opponent at his "top level" if he has injured/fatigued players at the end of the season. He should be either sitting players like in real life, or managing his team. And rest assured, if I have injured and fatigued guys, I'll be doing my part to ensure my team is ready for the playoffs. Fatigue and injuries are part of the game and should be factored in by the GM, not by the league.

I'm not sure which version of the sim Eric and Bryce use but I don't wanna have to play games 7 straight days. I know in the newer version East and West play separate days in the sim but teams cannot play more than 1 game every 2 days whether it's already in the sim or a rest day needs to be simmed after every game.

There is AT LEAST 1 day of rest between series. Has a team ever won a series and then started their next series the following day. No. Then, wouldn't it make sense that we incorporate this?

Between series yes... but not necessarily between rounds. No, a team hasn't won a series and then started their next series the next day. But a team DOES win a series, and then the other conference's series starts the next day. So there's a rest day there sure... but teams are playing.
The schedule doesn't show it as so, but yes their is a rest day between games in the playoffs.
Also after the regular season will will have 2 rest days. As there is a slight break between the end of the NHL season and the start of playoffs, we will reflect that....
