Trade Veto!!!

I think this trade should be vetoed:

To Philly: Eric Staal, Tom Preissing, Ladislav Smid, TB 2007 Rnd 1, Buf 2007 Rnd 4, $2,000,000
To Buffalo: Dave Andreychuk, Sean Brown, NJ 2007 Rnd 5, NJ 2007 Rnd 6

If Crosby was added to the deal it coulg go through but I mean Philly is basically getting Staal, Preissing, Smid and a 1st for free.

Yeah something went wrong with the processing of it, dont worry, Crosby is in the deal and Sean Brown is not... Error on Bryce's end. I sent him an email earlier today after we got the one saying that rosters were updated from all trades saying the crosby one hadnt gone through. So Im assuming it'll be fixed.

:D is saw that sean brown was on there haha..However, even tho i lost this game, i will not request a full healing of my players:D But seriously tho, that does need to be fixed. Thanks

You make it sound as if the game being lost had something to do with the trade being processed incorrectly...

And why would you request a full heaing of your pla... oh, I see what you were trying to do there... trying to take a jab at when the league on their own, healed up Lundqvist. You guys from Buffalo... so gosh darn witty

Do you not think Crosby and his 79 rating could change the outcome of a game?

Either way, it was a joke..seems like someone is a little touchy about that

Who's touchy? I was just pointing out how witty the Sabres are.

Seriously though, when the entire team is pretty much Crosby and Bouwmeester... Crosby or no Crosby, the likely outcome is the same...

well you werent actually giving us a compliment, more of a sarcastic remark, thats why i said it. anyways ya i can't imagine we win to many games with Crosby and JBo as our only good players..I can't see us really competing for 3 years min, however some of our prospects are getting a bit closer.

Hey, you screwed that pooch as well by taking Timonen for Orpik and a 1st, so I hardly think you're one to talk.

And your continuing claim that TB somehow has sway over 5 independent members of the Trade Committee is about as outlandish as your claim that Lundqvist's condition upping was completely unsolicited.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black

Wow... that's just amazing! If the reason that I think Bergeron shouldn't be there had absolutely anything to do with what he gave up to get him, you might at the very least, come close to having a valid point. Fortunately for me, it doesn't, so you don't. I would have thought that if anything, my own personal viewpoint on trade vetoing would be clear.

But that aside, to even try to suggest that it's some huge lopsided deal giving up a 25 year old hard hitting and physical defenceman, along with a first round pick, in exchange for a dman who will go UFA in 2 seasons, but is indeed a very good dman... is laughable.

LOL... again, fortunately for me, whether you choose to believe the league's decision to up Lundqvist's condition was unsolicited or not, doesn't change the fact that it wasn't. Certainly the post was made "article style" expressing frustration at what happened, but at no time did I ask for anything to happen. Again, believe that, don't believe that, I really don't care, it doesn't change the facts.

Does every thread have to degrade into the same damn conversation about the same 3 issues that are well in the past?  It won't be long before I don't read the message boards anymore....

I would say you are being too lenient with the fines Bryce...  these guys are lucky....

For the record when I brought up the Bergeron thing I was joking, I just figured Florida blamed someone for taking jabs at something so I thought I'd remind him he does the same.
I don't agree with all the decisions taken by Bryce and Eric but I live with them and understand them and don't criticize them.
Sorry if my post brought this up but it meant no harm.
