Pronger's one year in Edmonton may have saved the franchise as the Cup run brought in HUGE revenues. Every playoff home game is worth millions and they had 12 of them.

Pronger is the best thing to happen to the Oilers in a long time, both his coming and his going, but Bryce is right, blue collar ethic is pretty narrowly focused.

Damn straight us Albertans are pretty narrow minded, and proud of it (the rest of Canada just complains while we support the whole country with our oil & gas money). Sure the whole looks great, but that was because of superior GMing more than anything else. KLowe and Burke are the 2 best in the biz.....
