I receive so many ****ty offers day after day and I'm getting tired of it. Very few in this league have any intention of working out a fair deal. That is pretty evident with the slew of recent fleecings.
Anyways please don't bother contacting me with any trade proposals as I won't be trading for a while.

Sorry but I can't take anything seriously from a guy who thinks Ryan Getzlaf is going to be as good as Eric Lindros in his prime

All this shows is that offers are all relative. "fair" is a relative term. And at the same time, obviously people want the best deal they can get.
It's not that often that someone makes an offer, and boom, someone else accepts. Sure, it happens, but not often. More often than not, it's one side starts low, the other side starts high, something in the middle might get done. I sure know plenty of people who say "why would I start with the offer that it's probably going to get done at, when all that will happen is that the other guy uses that at my "starting" point, and I have to go up".
Or I've certainly often heard the "don't make me lowball offers" which have ended up meaning "I'm not even going to listen unless I'm the one getting the super end of the deal".
What's fair to one, isn't fair to someone else, especially when dealing with subjective values such as "potential"

As another GM said today, there is a difference between a lowball and a feeler offer. The majority of the offers I get are lowballs, feels good when I do get a feeler offer though.
I better break out the tissues for Columbus.......WAHHHHHHHHHHhh Dude your rediculous to deal with and expect to slaughter everyone in a deal, and when you dont you get upset like your doing, probably stamping your feet as well. Every deal has to start somewhere. If both gm's are steadfast in not moving thier superstars then it just cant happen. I know myself I've given you every opportunity to get another deal done with me, as I am not looking for 1 specific player but more as certain genre of youth and the like. I'm just speaking for how you reacted to our latest talks, to me everyone else seems decent. Maybe a little rough around the edges at times but thats why we're all different with an assortment of needs and interests for our team. Good luck with your period of silence and if you choose to come back to the brhl2 trade world. Please give me a hollar because I have a used puck bag and jock strap I'd like to offer for your young studs. -Joe NYRGM hahaha relax and have fun man!
Two days was longer than I usually go without making trades
