While I do think it's a little underhanded to request and accept the change, what really concerns me is the league's lack of disclosure on this matter, and as I've been critical in the past, on matters like this in general. This isn't the first time GMs haven't had a clue what is going on, as this happened previously with trades being vetoed.
A situation like this just really makes me not lose faith in league management, as I believe the guys running the league are upright and honest, but it just makes me a little uneasy. As a commissioner you've got power over the entire league. You can do anything you want, you could resim games every night until your team won if you so desired. As I said I trust the commissioners, and I'm in no way accusing them of anything like that. But when things are done like this, when no one is notified about the change, it makes me uneasy.
I would have had much less of a problem with this if the league had sent out an email or made a post on the board that said sorry guys, we messed up, just to let you know here's what we're doing to rectify the problem.
Just my two cents, as people are going to lose trust when there is potentially no reason for them to do so. Trust is key when the commissioners have all the power and especially when money is involved.
That is my final two cents

Sorry but no, that is incorrect.
I was referring to the fact that the league made only one alteration to the one PANTHER player where it was KNOWN to have had an impact, so no, it wasn't incorrect.

And all of this after VEHEMENTLY denying that the league had any right whatsoever to even consider reversing an error they may have made on a waiver claim made by Tampa Bay for Richardson. So now it's okay for the league to go correcting its mistakes because its your team? I would say you're the one who looks stupid.

No, that would still be you. I absolutely said, and absolutely would still say that there's no way that the Tampa Bay Richardson waiver pickup should be reversed because it was based on the arguement that "the NYR GM backed out on a deal, and I wouldn't have picked him up", along with "the OV farm rule hadn't been applied". It was an arguement based on something done by the Tampa GM. It also is slightly different in that the Tampa GM was more than happy to have him until he was told he had to follow the rules and have him on the pro roster...
If there was a league error the day that TB picked him up on waivers, and the original team wanted him back, absolutely he should have gone back.

One more time... it's NOT something that I requested, but indeed, it is something I accepted.

Which is something I fully agree with. The above comments mirror comments that I'd sent in to the league after the Bergeron fiasco. On the level, or underhanded, after that, I lost confidence in the BOD, given that it was a BOD member especially that was part of it. Honest, dishonest, or borderline, perception is huge, especially when you don't know people.

Since you guys didn't abide by that, this thread has been closed due to it serves no purpose anymore.
