After what seemed like an eternity, Pittsburgh, after a week layoff will finally have the opportunity to play in New Jersey Saturday night, after which the Penguins will immediately hop a coach and get back to Pittsburgh to face the incoming Leafs who have had a great start to the season.
Both teams will create quite a test for the teeter totter start for the mini rolling Penguins." Why there was such a long break in between games is beyond me the scheduler sucks in my opinion. We had just started playing like a team when this stoppage in games came so I am worried we may be a bit rusty for tomorrows rendevous with the Devils." said a bit bothered GM Rod Edwards.
Our team has really struggled coming out of the gate, and disappointment was huge because of it. The thought of making many a move was there, and the chances have been plentiful with offers from other GMs, but at this time we are confident that we are a much better team, and we will bounce back into the grand scheme of things to be a contender when all is said and done. This I am convinced.
There is a chance however a player or two might be added for youth or picks if the right opportunity were to present itself. Heres hoping for a solid effort in New Jersey.
