Vancouver for the first time this season is no longer at the bottom of the Westen Conference. The Canucks have been the laughing stock of the league for the first 20% of the season. Last night versus the Bruins they won thier first home game of the season. Coach Jacques Martin had a few things to say about the win, "Finally got it done". When asked if he was proud of his players he had this to say, "Proud.....This is pathetic. This was our first win at home of the season and im supposed to be proud. What should I take these guys out for ice cream. Stop it already".
On another note Vancouver made a trade with the Kings to recieve winger Chris Clark. Vancouver sent Eric Daze, 3rd round Entry Draft pick, and prospect Lori Korpikoski.
I think it's a decent deal, I thought at first Clark was a UFA so didn,t get it but you can resign him and he is having a very good season so I think it's a pretty even deal that should help both of you.
