I don't wanna be a prick but no way that deal should be accepted the guy must have received at least 5 offers inclusing mine that were tons better than that one.

Mine was Bell, Vermette and Lydman.
and then he gets dealt for 2 UFA's, one guy with a two year contract, one of those guys is retired and their salaries add up to 7M.
This trade should be denied and yes I know it's a cash league and it sucks for Vancouver but the way it's going LA will be ruined and no one will want to take them over.

Hey everyone I just want people to know that i dont know this guy and i would never try to ruin a league......this is a deal i offered him and he replied maybe 6 hours later......I dont know why he only replied to me or even accepted this deal......i just threw the deal out there like alot of gm's do and he accepted.....so believe me that i dont know him and dont want to be viewed as one of those gm's.....if the BOD decides to overturn this deal then fine......my team still sucks :)

I don't even understand why any one would even wanna trade Bergeron.  The guy is only 20 and is the type of player you could possibly build your team around.

Vancouver gets my vote for trade of the year.  Good on ya buddy, most of us couldn't even get the guy to respond, you managed to get him to accept. That deserves some type of reward or recognition.

Aren't you on the BOD? Do you guys not talk about the trades before you put them through? or at least the weird ones like this one?

Absolutely no way in hell should the deal be blocked or over-turned. There's absolutely no suggestions of collusion, and absolutely nothing to suggest that LA is somehow purposely tanking his team. Is it a bad deal? I don't think you'd find too many that would suggest otherwise, but big deal. he still got some good players in return, and although we may not think it's a good deal for his team, again, so... what. We've already had this discussion... the BOD isn't there to act as the trade nazi's... they're there to step in when we're talking about cheating, gross misconduct, or at the absolute worst case scenario, a trade so lopsided, that there's absolutely no possible way that anybody in their right mind could see it being anything other than someone having mental capacity issues. I'm talking Kovalchuk for a 5th round pick type trade...

This is a bad deal for LA (in my opinion), but absolutely not one that should even be considered for overturning.

Considering the guy received about 5 e-mails, didn't reply to any of them and didn't try negotiating at all it shows to me that he may be trying to tank the team and no way can I accept this deal.

I find it a little suspicious/retarded that the guy received a bunch of emails with offers that were clearly better than what Vancouver offered to which he didn't even respond. I just think that's weird, basically.

I think that should be looked into, but I for one was advocating a liberal trade committee, so if there is nothing else going on which I have no idea what the case is then I think the trade should be allowed to be put through.

Very weird though, how does a guy take that deal over Bell, Lydman, and Vermette. All 3 of those assets are each better than the 3 assets he actually received.

Considering he put Pascal Labarbera on the block I'd say he's a little out to lunch.

But if there is no collusion then trades should for the most part not be overturned. Sure a replacement GM may be tough to find but the league's first responsibility is to those GMs that it already has, especially in a pay league.
