Players coming into the league will be aged based on the year of their birth. Because we do roster packs every spring, the calender flips over regularily and a guy would be aged to match the others in the league.
For instance;
Jordan Staal '88 birthday will be 19 years old in BRHL season 2
Patrick Thorasen '83 birthday will be 24 years old in BRHL season 2

From the Rules: a. RFA Age will change according to the following scale: BRHL2 Off-season #1 / 06-07: 30 years old BRHL2 Off-season #2 / 07-08: 29 years old BRHL2 Off-season #3 / 08-09: 28 years old BRHL2 Off-season #4 / 09-10 to 11-12: 27 years old
2. Contracts are offered as all having a similar base salary. To keep things in line, and to avoid future mix-ups, all contracts will keep the same base salary from year to year.
3. Years on contracts, 1 is the minimum, 5 is the maximum.
Ok I know we've gone over this a million times but I need to know this.
When does the age go up? Is it like Preseason each year that EVERYONE in the league's age goes up 1 year? Like if a guy is listed as 31 on the team rosters right now, is he 32 at years end and not a RFA? Not being able to be signed by his owner?
Or is it someone listed as 31 right now can be signed by their owner through the entire off season?
The biggest thing here is when is EVERYONE's age changed to 1 year older during our fiscal year?

He's RFA now and for free agency, we've said this a million times.
I talked to Luke about this a little bit ago, and this helped him.
regular season - playoffs - offseason starts - entry draft - finalize rfa signings - ufa signings - Players age a year / New Contracts get inputted / Season #2 starts
