Weve had bertuzzi talks before, just cause he isnt 21 years old like the rest of our team doesnt mean he isnt valuable. The guy could easilly get 100 points this year and next year we can slap the lemiuex tag on him, as no one else is even close to the criteria, and sign him for 3 more years or more if we wanted!
You're misunderstanding the tags, if you tag a player you get to keep them for ONE more year, after which they automatically become an UFA.
So the longest you could have Bertuzzi is 3 seasons, including this one.
