Just a thought, but I think their salaries should be regulated according to, something anyway. I've thought of signing all my top prospects to league minimum deals (already signed Bourret and Metropolit) and there seems to be nothing against signing these guys.
We need a standard rookie contract according to maybe draft position, or even better negotiated by some player agents. At the moment players that have been signed for depth purposes (Stastny, Bourret, Latendresse) off the top of my head have been signed to 3 year 450,000 (league minimum contracts). Essentially bargain basement prices for top prospects. I move for renegotiating all of the depth creations contracts or at the very least using player agents or a salary table for all prospects signed from this point on.

I understand your view, however the reason those players signed for that little is that I do not expect their entry contracts to be THAT different from their BRHL2 deals. They are also losing a year of elligibility. Players such as Malkin, a Bobby Ryan or a player who would likely garner more money, won't sign for the BRHL2 minimum. I have kept an eye on it, and I have made some negotiations. However, those negotiations have been finalizaed with a league minimum due to a minimal difference in views.
