conn smythe ROOKIE lol piked to early in the second round lmao, rick nash a guy who shoulda gone top 6-8 at 21 how is that not a steal u people r insane. phillippeee u pick brian gionta who after his last nhl season is going be asking for 5.5 mill from u, now that i dont think is really worth it, paying 6.25 for nash who scored 41 goals in the nhl as a 19 yr old with no one on his line seems reasonable to me
You spelled piCked wrong. I think that about sums up the rest of your points.

Correcting grammar online is kinda retarded if you ask me. Unless its really poor, then its pretty much the most lame come-back ever. Everyone knows that your keys slip and theres not really that much sense fixing it when you still know the message will get across... geez.

It points to the fact that Matt is a bit of a bastard.

Yeah, like, one could point out you need an apostrophe in "it's" everytime "it's" is a contraction for 'it is',... but why bother?
And comeback doesn't have a dash when used as a noun, only sometimes, as an archaic usage to modify a noun, as in "a come-back argument" or "the come-back kid".
All it proves is... I'm an English teacher. (No, seriously, that's my job.) And I'm not the one who started nitpicking about grammar and spelling because, on the Internet, it'd be an unending task.
So, I agree: correcting grammar on the Internet is kinda retarded.
WTF correncting grammar on the internet u guys are screwed cmon now b seriious i dunno what u were thinking Cam Ward 2nd round that is a hall of fame pick

I think he was just trying to have a terribly poor sentence. This run on sentence he ended up with just happened to have Cam Ward in it... no? Either way I dont think Cam Ward is anything like Patrick Roy, so that comparison is a little far fetched. I think he was more-less the beneficiary of being in the right place at the right time.
i think it shows something ward proved in pressure games he shows up huge with is rare in rookie goalies no one knows how well he is going to turn out. He has started of his career amazing snd picking him in the second inst a reach at all

this is a good point.....what else would you like cam ward to do......score goals from one end of the rink to the other. He preformed at the top level in the biggest game on the pro level. You can talk about all these other top prospect goalies coming up but this guy has already done it.
