NHL Contracts!!!

LOL....

WOW, what a wild free-agency period in the NHL so far.

First of all, are we sure that the Bruins actually fired their previous GM? Chara at 7.5 mil for 5 years? WOW

How about Jovanovski getting 5 years and 6.5 mil per year to play under the Gretz in the desert? WOW

Redden and McCabe getting boatloads of money and my personal favorite signing so far Robby Blake going back to la-la-land for 6 mil per.

And with the signing of these contracts for defenseman, hasn't Kevin Lowe's asking price for CP44 just gone through the roof???

Elias getting a 7 YEAR DEAL???? Unbelievable. Where is the fiscal sanity?

Arnott to the Preds; Kubina and Gill to the Leafs; Cullen to the Rangers; Johnsson,Carney, and parrish to the Wild; Savard to the B's; gerber to the Sens; AND the OIL resigning 2 of their 3 playoff hero's, Pisani and Rolo.

Will these signings affect your drafting strategy?? ABSOLUTELY.

P.S. Im psyched about this league if you can't tell.

I dont know about you but Gerber just jumped about 10 spots in my goaltender rankings. (For example)... I will definitely move Bertuzzi up on my list now that he's away from all the distractions, etc. that went along with playing in vancouver (and a place where he assaulted someone, lol)

Yeah good point, I thought you meant more salarywise but I understand what you meant now.
