The e-mail list, one round per day seems to be the way things will go. However, we might mix in a few live rounds here and there to spruce things up. more info to come on the live drafts, but I'm just giving you guys a heads up.
We won't be running the draft on the board, mianly because I find it to be a very annoying way to run a draft. As well as it takes too long, and that updating the site and files can get more tedious that way.

If I can again, I strongly suggest, if you are doing lists everyday, opening up a chat room every night for people who want to pick live. It really brings a lot of excitement, helps people to get to know each other, and if it's only one round per day, it isn't a huge advantage for those who can make it on a particular night.

Also commishes any news on how far we are away? When can we expect to know our drafting position?
No pressure, just anxious to get going!

Already ahead of you Matt. something will be set up on IRC, or if you don't have that it can be accessable via java chat.

As for the payments so far. We're at officailly 17 or so teams paid, I'll update dues page here soon, and I have committments from about 5 more people to get their payments in shortly.

Hey if we could do all rounds live 1 a night that would be great but unfortunately I have been thru this all before and it is tough to do it this way. Maybe the sound of cash will change all that. Anyhow email once a night is fine with me .

The idea of live is basically that those who can be there instead of emailing a list can show up and pick thei player live. It takes about 30 minutes a night at most.
I've been lucky with live drafts so far. and we'll keep a similar idea to make sure a BRHL2 Live round will go the same. 3 minutes to make your selection, combined with the couple of lists we'll have sent in. I'd guess that a live round wouldn't take longe than 30 minutes.

I would like to try and do the first 10 rounds or so live or through the message board. I like the list idea but the first 10 rounds are so important I would rather have a bit more control over them.

I tend to agree, a mixture of 3 min per pick plus lists, will surely finish in about 30 mins...And that is 30 min max, after you select you can just leave if you want.
Thanks Eric, I'm glad that we can be flexible about this, speaks volumes to how the league is run/will be run in the future.

Bryce and I (Like some of you) have been in all ranges of FHL leagues. From good to Bad, and everything in between. We've both run a successful FHL League (the original BRHL) so we have the experience from being both a GM and a Commish. We aim to please, and we want to make this league a great experience for everyone. You guys are in good hands, and we're glad you've joined us.
