Lockout Questions

Before we open up trading, the draft and free agency, does the league have any plans in case of lockout?

If there is short season (say 40 games), will we just use the stats from the short season next year?

If the entire season is cancelled, how will we handle ratings and the draft next year?

Based on the way they do things now, I doubt a short season will make much of a difference. I think it's based on points/game, TOI and things like that, all averages. I don't imagine it'll be an issue.

If the season is cancelled, the ratings are likely to remain the same, contracts would just age a year.

but in a shortened season, yes we use rations and per game numbers, so a shortened season, wouldnt have any effect.
