Umm 27 yrs and 1 yr extension is still a RFA Eric.. that is the final season for a RFA to sign a 1 yr deal....
Same as I did for Travis Moen this past offseason and he is 27 yrs at the start of the year and a RFA at the end of this season.
Im sure there are many more examples of this as well... just that one box needs fixed on your chart though...

If you sign a player who is 27 now to a one year contract, he's a UFA at the end of that contract.
The player ages in the off-season which is when the contract would essentially be signed, so he would be 28 with 1 year left, aka UFA.

Then why would a 26 year old who signs a 2 year deal still be a RFA (or a 25 year old who signs a 3 year deal...and so on)? There's no difference. I think Rex is right. If a guy is 27 when he signs a 1 year deal, he should still be a RFA. Either way, there's something wrong with the chart.

You're correct, and the chart has been fixed. it didn't continue and match my descriptions.
