Chris Butler

He is NOT on waivers.

I don't know what the **** happened. For some reason, Rod Pelley, Jordan Caron, Ryan McDonagh and Curtis McElhinney were called up to the pro team. And, Shawn Matthias, Ryan Reaves, Nick Foligno, Chris Butler and Bryce Salvador were put down on the farm. For **** sake furious

Can I get Butler put back on my pro roster so I can send in new lines to get this fixed?

This season has been so frustrating, I'm losing my mind and have lost all patience.

I'm not sure what happened though. I had Ben Bishop injured but I sent in lines compensating for that, where I called up Jacob Markstrom. The rest of my rosters (both pro and farm) were healthy but, all of a sudden, I get four guys called up and five guys put on the farm (six if you include Markstrom, if he actually made it to the pro team).

The more I think of it, the more I wonder if the lines I sent in (via the portal) were actually used?

It's the injuries for sure. The sim and the line changes have a real issue sending players up and down when a player is hurt or comes back from injury.

Yeah, I know that. That's why I sent in new lines to compensate for the injury (just by bringing up a goalie from the farm). But, I'm guessing the lines I sent in were not used, leading to this **** show.

From what I saw in the transactions, you had too many on the pro roster...i'm guessing that's what happened...but you just dont know with this sim

Hmmm, I never saw that. And, when I did my lines, it never warned me of having too many guys on my roster. But, that may be the problem here. Still, I don't know why it has to turn the roster upside down just because there's one extra guy on the roster. Anyways, I still would like Butler to be put on my pro roster so I can send in new lines. Or, I suppose if his suspension is lifted, I can still send in lines.

An idea to really help the league might be a new sim program... I am eagerly awaiting OOTP Hockey and look forward to seeing how customizable the ratings are as well as all the features and how seamlessly the BRHL2 might be able to convert over.... Im sure Bryce knows way more about it than me though and has had this thought lots because he turned me onto the OOTP 12 and now 13 Baseball Simulator.... and it is freiking amazing and soooo effortless, including the web site.... would certainly take away all the frustrations that this season has been and be a great way to start anew in the fall for next season...

thoughts?

Is the simming realistic?

simming is ridiculously realistic for the baseball sims... poor teams routinely finish near the bottom.. talent matter big time... theres multiple levels of minor leagues..

only problem being im not sure how much work it would be to convert our rosters to the OOTP sim, and whether or not everyone would be OK with a sim league that is not based off of NHL rerates but rather a sim rerate

either way, considering their baseball programs, their OOTP Hockey Simulator will be around 100-1000 times better than what the STHS is.

I don't think I'd like to be in a sim re-rate money league. But the baseball sounds really cool.
