We really need to get started on these because I just got ****ed in the ass by Kyle Brodziak having a major pay bump due to his great season...

 

Why do we even wait until the end of the year to negotiate these in the first place??? I really dont remember why we have been doing it that way...

I thought we were allowed to strategically sign 3 RFAs per season before the season ends and their new deals are announced (if they were on 1 year deals).

rex we usually waited until after the all-star break to be able to pre-sign three guys..

with the write off of this season brhl2 i kinda assumed we would get to presign 3 guys during our playoffs once things slow down..

based off of which contract though??

So i'll be able to re-sign my 3 guys based off of BEFORE they get their NHL salary bump next season??

no its based off their new nhl deal.. ask luke about Zetterburg last yr or yr before. going from a 4.5 resigning too a 7.6

So that it doesnt happen again due to our season being so delayed.

 now this i do 100% agree with.. wish the commish's posted on the boards still.. or emailed us league info..

expect an update soon where 29 teams, except WPG will be allowed to submit offers.
