Was this seriously a trade that was accepted by the league? Last year's league site isn't online anymore, so I couldnt tell if it was a trade from last season (doubt it) or just a trade that should have been looked at closely by the league.
ULTIMATELY BESIDES MY RANT ABOUT THIS TRADE:
There needs to be a listing of trades somewhere on the boards. Most of the time (especially certain GMs!!!), there is a team press release of the trade, but with the league site going crazy like it has been, we need a board set up for trades so that we can always look back on it. On the league site and the transactions page, there is nothing stating the 2nd part of the Bruins/Canadiens trade stating that the Canadiens could trade the 2BOS/3MTL for the 1BOS once league fees were paid. I don't want to be screwed over by the league page's resetting multiple times (not blaming the web page issues), but I think we need a dedicated message board to list all trades. Any trade approved should be placed in said message board within 1 day of the approval or else penalties should occur.
my question is why u feel the need to bring this up like 4-5 months later? if were looking back couldnt we look at the deal where u traded me dustin byfuglien for patrick osullivan and a late rounder?
i just dont see your point to constantly try to complain about anything i do.. (as evidence of me wanting players positions changed and you bit*ching about that).. now trying to point out a deal YOU see as a lopsided trade. I'm sure we can look throughout your previous deals and question some of them.. (like moving one of the top 5 goalie assets, contract/age/ratings combined, for picks and a 2nd-3rd line rookie in C.Smith.)
heck we could go back to when Toronto gave up two firsts for a rental at the time in Timmonen for 30-40 games of his season + playoffs.. Why didnt u post that as an example?

and you completely missed my point...there needs to be a listing of trades that occurred on the message boards...as far as i know, we have never had issues with the message boards...without a reliable source (unlike our current web portal) no one can keep track of all of the trades that occur on a day to day basis, whether to review trades or to have a permanent place to go back and confirm future parts of trades
why not post exactly what u just did? instead of listing a trade of mine?? or use another deal by another team? just find it funny you isolate my trade from 4-5 months ago... that is my point why isolate my team?
Because it was never anywhere on here or the portal...it was the first trade I noticed that wasn't in a team press release...I realize there's nothing to do of it now...this is the first year I've had to actually LOOK in the transactions log...an when I was going back to see where SJ's pick went to, I found that trade
In short, Kirk asks for draft picks as throw ins on any deal he does. It'd be nice if GMs held their ground and didnt throw them in. Good think Kirk is not a very strong drafter!
