We're just trying to get everyone caught up and paid before we start the offseason, we do have a bit more turmoil than most years, so if you know of anyone interested, we do have numerous openings.
If you want to get five GM's I would suggest setting up a mini draft putting all five of those teams in a draft for players, prospects and picks, like was done when I came into the league and spread the players out to each of these teams. This should be done every year when new GM's come in so all teams have a fair shot...
i have a suggestion towards the league eric or bryce if you guys can answer this please... can an existing team within the league switch franchises and pay a new "franchise switch fee"... i see rangers and sharks are available and im willing to take over that team.. since my nashville team is paid already for next season. i would pay a switch fee of the same amount 50 dollars american and switch to that team. then you can find a person to take over the existing franchsie and they dont have to pay for season 1... not sure how many gms want to do this cause its really paying twice as much.. but im willing to switch franchises...
i cant see why this wouldnt be considered.. I also 100% agree that we should be fantasy drafting all new teams assets for the new GMs to spread it out..

I don't agree at all with fantasy drafting existing teams. Who would want to take over a team that has nothing to work with? Worry about building your own team, not "stealing" from the dead. I do however agree with existing GM's being able to switch to a newly vacated team and paying the fee for the new GM to take over. As long as the league pool remains constant then any benefits from existing franchises would be for the existing GM's as it is up to the existing GM's to decide whether to switch or remain in their current situation. This may also make it more attractive for any prospective new GM's to "get their feet wet" without the $50 "learning fee" as some may not want to try this when it costs money. This allows them to get acquainted with sim hockey without financial hardship and could lead to long term relationships. If they decide they don't like it after a year, then we haven't lost anything and still maintain the financial pool.
The fantasy draft would not be for existing GMs, only the new GMs would divvy up the assets from the open teams. I think we may have done that in past years. Personally, I don't care either way. The issue is really whether any of the teams are so bad off that it will be hard to find a taker.
no i would not be associated with getting to receive an open draft.. if i pay the so called "franchise transfer fee" i get the team and thats that... then a new person can come in and not pay 50 dollars and really get a jump start on a new franchise.. i will admit.. vancouver will be a very hard hard team to get a gm.. but when you get teams like rangers and sharks willing .. im sure existing franchises may want to try something different get that team. and have their old team taken by a new prospected gm that is willing to stay for the long haul in this league... i beleive vancouver has had a new gm 3 years consecutive and running.. im hoping the method i came up with will help stop that..
All I know is I'm set with Washington, already did my work and am 100% against the draft idea. Not willing to do that after being set up with this team in the position it's in. This is the team I'm paying for.

Sorry buddy but as I stated before Washington was going to be the easiest team to fill and I don't see why you should have such an advantage just because you were first come first serve. Pitts and Van have some serious work to do and if adeqaute GM's can't be found for them without having an expansion draft it is only fair.
Trading isn't open yet this is a great league and I think you should reconsider your attitude. If you are deadset on having a team (as is) feel free to step up and take Pittsburgh or Vancouver.....
Are you like a commish or something? All I know is I went through a boatload of trouble to add the money to paypal as soon as I could so that it was fair that I took them over.
