Thank you for all the offers leading up to tomorrow's deadline day..... at this time Management of the Predators would like to take this opportunity and say our War room is now closed and we have fulfilled our needs leading up to our first ever playoff push. After our last 24 hours of negotiations with teams we have seen what is availible and will look forward to finding out if the decisions to stand pat was the wise choice...

The only deadline deal that was witnessed by the Predators was a waiver wire exchange when they grabbed RFA Christoph Schubert. He will play the role of the 7th/8th dman and to process this neccessary move Lauri Korpikoski was demoted to the minors to make room for this move.
