The rules state the following: "Players with a contract of 1.5 million or more may go to the farm, but they MUST clear waivers first. Even if they go the minors, their full salary will be paid. However, during the UFA period, they must be in the pros so their salary is reflected there."
How does the sim take this into account? I'm looking at the finances page and, Wade Redden, for example is listed at earning 450k in the minors, rather than $4.5M.
Thanks!

Should be in there and working. I'll double check everything.

I put Toskala and his 2 mil salary down to the farm during the waiver draft but now see that he has been moved back to my pro roster. The client is now telling me he earns to much to go to the farm.

yes rob is correct on this... so you can demote once again.. just you will pay their full salaries instead of 10percent of salaries... this should have been done at the start of the season which is why i knew minnesota was going to be over cap.. but i was nice enough not to say anything until it was brought up.
The rules state you must pay the full salary but nothing says that that salary affects the cap, I have no issue with paying the full contract i just don't want it to count against the cap when I send to the farm and was under the understanding that if they cleared waivers it would not...
So these guys who are now making 10x their salary on the farm... what happens when they get called up?. We'll be taking a huge hit in the budget if they play a game at that salary on the pro team!
