i notice on nashville. i have completed my protection list.. however in the league files and the gm editor. i never saw michel ouellet.. however in the portal it shows as him being protected and  i have 24 ppl protected.. can you please place ouellet in the minors/waivers as i cannot see him in the gm editor program

Don't see him on Nashville. He is listed as a part of your team if you search by players, but he isn't on your roster. He's not a created player because he played in Switzerland last year.

He, like others are still in the portal because the portal keeps record of them for statistical purposes.

As I've said before, please use the league index for any discrepancies.

2. For players 23 and under who did not play at least 5 games in AHL last season, they too would have to clear waivers to be demoted. So if someone wanted to send Tavares to minors, he would have to be exposed. While the sim obviously doesn't detect this, I will do a scan of the final rosters and make note of them, plus you guys are great at policing yourselves (we've trained you well ;) ).

Wait....does this go for the waiver draft too?  This seems to be the direct opposite of the rules...

In the Waiver draft, teams do not need to protect players 23 and younger, and can protect up to 20 skaters, and 3 goalies.

I don't understand your question too well.

But, players 23 and younger will be exposed to waivers if they did not play at least 5 AHL games.

Also, No player is excluded, exempt, not applicable to taking up a roster spot because of their age. Players 23 and younger who are kept on your pro roster are still counted towards the 20+3 allotment.

Everything should be up shortly in the waiver draft thread.

Typing up the actual claiming and un-protecting rules now.

I let Kevin (has first option to pick) know the deal for tonight, so he knows what to expect with this mild delay.
