Attention GM's - Payments

Attention to all GMs

I am going through, requesting payment from those of you who are short for season 5. A quick reminder to GMs

1. Paying your season 5 fees gives you access to season 5 pikcs and season. IF you want the season 6 picks, you have to pay for that year as well.

2. Trading etc will not open before all payments have been received, as per normal.

3. Eric will confirm, but I am expecting a pretty quick turnaround into the draft.

4. Payments are preferred via paypal. You can mail me cheques/cash but due to time constraints, paypal is definetely the way to go.

5. You may roll any excess winnings forward to future seasons. I know a bunch of you have already requested this.

Anything else I am missing?

unpaid for season 5 right now are

Chicago
Detroit
Edmonton
Phoenix
Toronto
Washington

still pending TOY candidates, and Phoenix could be paid if he wins the minors.

Going forward it will be listed on each teams prospect pages something like YEAR 6 PICKS meaning they can be dealt.

Can you confirm that I had paid for year 5 prior to any winnings this years? After I won the cup last year I paid for both the upcoming year and the following (year 5).

Thanks.
Luke

I would like to thank Alex Ovechkin for paying for my years 6 and 7 picks.

Look forward to building a cup contender around this guy!

Thanks for the offers though Kirk ;)

We are in a bit better of shape then the BRHL is in terms of finishing the season, and being able to start the draft and FA, but it does bring up something to consider for this league.

A lot of GM's will be disappearing for the summer soon, so we need to get moving on payments so we can get onto the important things!! In other words if you haven't paid get your a$$ in gear! You can pay via paypal and it takes 2min, I did it today for my season 6 fees.

Earliest we're projecting to start the off-season would be the 19th, a week from now. That's if everything goes right. Once we figure out that we're in the clear to start, Bryce and I will start to landscape the off-season events. I think we're in good shape.

What is the tentative thinking as far as the draft date goes?

If GMs can get a sense of what we're looking at, those who are going to be away might be able to make arrangements to be available.

Maybe we should set up a thread or something on the webpage that shows which teams have paid for which season.  I believe I am paid up to season 7.

I paid a long time ago, otherwise I'd not have been allowed to trade my picks
