Injuries

I don't know if my team has just been the unlucky ones, but I have had atleast 1 player (at most times 2) with injuries for the majority of the season.  These are top-line players that won't get a day's rest normally, but they seem to be having lengthy injuries.  Is there a way to track injuries throughout the league and try to find a consistency, or am I just so unfortunate to have this occuring all season?

I consider myself relatively lucky, although I've only had 5 injuries, they have happened to some of my key players. Datsyuk and Kunitz had minor injuries, only missing a game or two but Phillips, Kariya and Krajicek were out for longer. Phillips missed 13 games, Krajicek (who is my main backup dman) has been out for longer.... I think injuries are random, not really any consistency, I know Chicago had major injury problems last year in FHL with their team, so it just might be your time...

Make sure you don't give them too much icetime.

Keeping players from exhaustion helps. Double shifting players for a long period of time can drain their condition. There are a lot more day-to-day injuries (by design), so a smart rotation of where and when your players play makes a big difference.

And then you also have the actual injuries, that are unavoidable unless the player is of Ironman status.
