Despite recent reports that the Coyotes have been shopping Teemu Selanne, both the Coyotes and Selanne's agent insist that Selanne will remain with the Coyotes through the remainder of the season. Both parties also pointed to the No-Trade Clause which was included when Selanne resigned with the club this past offseason. The team insists they have not talked to Selanne about waiving the clause, and Selanne's agent also says he has not been approached by the team regarding any trade possibilities.
When pressed further, Coyotes management hinted that Kozlov, who's NTC is no longer in effect, may be shopped. It is reported that the Coyotes would be looing for a top-2 centre, a top-4 defender with offensive abilities, or a package of picks/prospects.
No shortage of excitement in the Desert this season as the Coyotes press to make the playoffs.
