Rest Day / Makeup Day / Updated schedule

Note, I will sim a rest day following at the end of the round robin.  I'll do the rest after the sim but before I upload for day 8 of the round robin so that when the site is updated after day 8 games the rosters will be accurate for heading into the playoffs.

Also note, I will sim all conference semi final games on Friday Dec 18 in order to make up the day we missed at the beginning of the tourney.  I will sim a rest day after I sim and before I upload as well.

Schedule:

Wed, Dec 16: Day 7 round robin
Thurs, Dec 17: Day 8 round robin/rest day
Fri, Dec 18: Conference semi finals (all of them) / rest day
Monday, Dec 21: Conference finals 1
Tuesday, Dec 22: Conference finals 2
Wednesday, Dec 23: FINALS

In other news:

- Team Canada GM, Kevin Switzer, was told that he would be fired from his post as team GM following the tournament...

- David Elkin (German) appears to be the most likely to be fired. Only luck can save him now!

- Team Ontario clinch first place in their Pool and will likely face Finland or Quebec in the quarter-finals.

- Team Russia and Team Sweden clinched the top two seeds in Pool B and will likely see Team Alberta, Team BC or Team Slovakia in the quarter-finals.

- Tied for the tournament lead in points with 7 are Anaheim Ducks prospect, Jakub Voracek, Florida Panthers defenceman, Drew Doughty, and Boston Bruins forward, Sam Gagner.
