With half of the goals generated off the point, GM Tomayko is seeking out a change in his front lines.
The Gazette reports words of trade mumbling in GM Tomayko's office. It appears linemates Fedotenko and Ryder were slated on a trade that fell through this past week. Both players are UFA after this season, and it's likely only one would resign with the sqaud in the offseason. Since Jiri Hudler's departure for the KHL, no words have been spoken of him leaving Montreal quite yet.
The most interesting words heard from the office were speaks of off-season acquired Hiller to depart for a rival squad. Apparently deep talks have begun for trading their number 1 goalie out for some forward depth and a replacement goalie that even made us reporters ask "what the #%#@?!?!?!" We will see how far these talks go, but it seems as though a green light has been given through all offices on this type of trade.
