yeah when does kovalchuk or miller win their award for last month??
LOL it pains me to say this, but Kovalchuk would likely be a front-runner.
Rozsival's 9 points in 7 games for the Coyotes has been impressive, but he struggled when he was with the the Canucks for the first half of the month so he'll likely be overlooked... and Nolan has slowed down after starting off at a rediculous pace...
I wonder if the commishes overlooked Tim Thomas? .931 SV%, 1.82 GAA and 3 shutouts already...
not arguing the choice of kovalchuk as 25 points in 14 games is very good, just want to make sure that the goalies are getting consideration as Player of the Month

Goalies were considered, yes.
The short list was Kovalchuk, Brodeur, Thomas, Ovechkin, Hartnell, Umberger and Miller.

i guess with my anemic offense and the best GAA, 2nd best save %, tied for most SO, as well as taking key penalties in defending his teammates (3 majors) doesnt get you mentioned (even ahead of a goalie not good enough to hold Robbys jockstrap before I dealt him at the start if the season)
How does the best goalie statistically not get mentioned, and even put behind LESSER 'tenders (statistically, as well as for their team)????
We want a recount!!
LOL
Thanks for doing these little extras and making the league more active, whoevers idea this was.
