Process for adding/dropping players.

As outlined in the rules. Teams must adhere to 40 man protected lists at all times. If you have less than 40 players. You can add a player without dropping one.

Teams can only add a MAXIMUM of 4 UFA players per season (season being outlined as preseason-end of entry draft).

During the offseason (after draft until before preseason). Teams can add as many UFA players as they wish.

For the purpose of adding UFA's a player is ONLY considered a UFA if he has played in more than 100 CHL or 70 NCAA games prior to the current season (so current season stats would not count) For this season if a player has accrued those levels BEFORE the 09-10 season. They can be added as you please on a first come, first serve basis.

The format to add players is to simply post on the MESSAGEBOARD in the following format


subject - OIL KINGS ADD JOE BLOW
body - drop Jane Doe

Joe Blow has played more than 100 CHL games prior to this season as seen at www.hockeydb.com/joeblow

The Oil Kings have used 1 of 4 UFA additions.


I will open season on UFA's at noon EST Tuesday October 27th.

If they are not posted to the messageboard, they are not valid. Editing your post is forbidden. If you edit your post for ANY reason, the bid is null and void and you will not be able to add the player. If you need to change something, just hit reply and do so there (this avoids changing names and claiming your timestamp was before by changing a players name).
