So who would you pick if you had the first pick

Definetely going to be some differing strategies. Would you take Taveres first knowing you are likely only getting 1 year? Or would you go with Hall who you will get 2 out of? Someone else perhaps? Going to be VERY interesting watching the way some of the teams are put together.

I have a feeling this will be a blow out. Nothing I need to worry about... picking 30th! :)

There is some upside to picking 36th, at least you'll be the first team w/ 2 players

Hall was picked in the KHL draft, so maybe he might dash over the ocean to Russia... probably not, but you never know...

ouch broncos will be choosing in the 35th overall slot 2nd last ...

not a good way to start considering the cream de la crop is in the top 30.. so this will definately show if i can steal some picks now with the late draft choice..

even worse consider this.. its the same for every team of course.. but the gap between picks will be 69 players... so after you make a selection you have to wait for 69 other player before choosing again lol.

going to suck while i wait after my 2nd round pick i can watch a whole hour show cause the draft will take a long long time

So, who's gonna go #2 to Owen Sound? Im betting someone like McCollum, possibly Tokarski

I could definitely see McCollum, though I think it's hard to pass on guys like Tavares, C.Wilson, and M.Gilroy.  Even though they'd only be around for 1 year... they be pretty great for that one year.

I disagree, I know personally I won't be taking guys with 1 year left (Wilson may have more). I just think the 1 year gunning for it strategy will be so convoted with others trying to do the same, that building a decent team this year, with a great future, is likely to way to build your team through the draft.

I think I'll be shooting for a balance.  You'll have to have a few one year guys, might as well go for the best.

By the By, only 1 year for Wilson, he signd w/ Nashville a couple of months ago.
