Anaheim Ducks Done in UFA, RFA

The front office of the Anaheim Ducks will take a well-deserved summer holiday after what is being hailed as the end of the team's rebuilding phase.  The Ducks were able to add a significant amount of talent to the team without jeopardizing its future.  The Ducks have added an entire first line this off-season with the addition of Marian Gaborik, Brad Richards, Alex Kovalev, Rob Blake and Brian Campbell.  Also joining the Ducks as its starting goaltender is Jonathan Quick

With potential stars like Jakub Voracek, Kyle Turris, Erik Johnson, Cory Schneider, Kevin Shattenkirk, Oscar Moller, Mikhail Grabovski, Fabian Brunnstrom and Tom McCollum all at various stages of development, the team's outlook is more than positive.

A handful of other players possess some top six/top four qualities as well (Shawn Matthias, Kirill Petrov, Alex Grant, Maxim Goncharov, Chris DiDomenico).

Projected roster depth for 2009-10:
