1)  Compensation for signing a RFA is as follows;

a.  $475,000 to $499,999 = 5th Round Draft Pick

b.  $500,000 to $999,999 = 4th Round Draft Pick

c.  $1,000,000 to $1,999,999 = 3rd Round Draft Pick

d.  $2,000,000 to $2,999,999 = 2nd Round Draft Pick

e.  $3,000,000 to $3,999,999 = 1st Round Draft Pick

f.  $4,000,000 to $4,999,999 = 1st & 2nd Round Draft Picks

g.  $5,000,000 + = Three 1st Round Draft Picks

2)  You must have the proper compensation before bidding on a RFA. If you have multiple picks that qualify. The team losing the player would have their choice amongst your available picks.

3)  LEGWAND WILL SIGN ANYWHERE FROM A 1-5 YEAR DEAL AS HE WOULD BE UFA AFTER 1 YEAR

4)  When bidding for RFAs your bid must be at least 200k higher than the prior bid.

Anaheim offers David Legwand:
$2.3M per year for 1 year

Note: Anaheim has now paid its fees for 2010-11 and has its 2nd round pick available as compensation for the potential signing.

Correct, so Atlanta has to choose to match 2 yrs/2.8 million or accept StL 2nd as compensation.

PST is only on the UFA's it was stated on the RFA thread that the time stamps were easy to track with so few RFA's thats what would be used

fair enough, TY Carolina

I also thought that when rights were traded, a new 48 hour window would appear, am I right or wrong cause he's no longer with the team when bids were made, since he's traded, shouldn't new bids be allowed from the time of the transaction?

Yes/No?

No, he's testing the RFA waters regardless of what team he plays for...
