1)  Compensation for signing a RFA is as follows;

a.  $475,000 to $499,999 = 5th Round Draft Pick

b.  $500,000 to $999,999 = 4th Round Draft Pick

c.  $1,000,000 to $1,999,999 = 3rd Round Draft Pick

d.  $2,000,000 to $2,999,999 = 2nd Round Draft Pick

e.  $3,000,000 to $3,999,999 = 1st Round Draft Pick

f.  $4,000,000 to $4,999,999 = 1st & 2nd Round Draft Picks

g.  $5,000,000 + = Three 1st Round Draft Picks

2)  You must have the proper compensation before bidding on a RFA. If you have multiple picks that qualify. The team losing the player would have their choice amongst your available picks.

3) RICHARDS WILL SIGN ANYWHERE FROM A 1-5 YEAR DEAL AS HE WOULD BE UFA AFTER 1 YEAR

4)  When bidding for RFAs your bid must be at least 200k higher than the prior bid.

Anaheim offers Brad Richards:
$7.25M per year for 5 years

Note:
Anaheim has now paid its fees for 2010-11 and has its 1st round pick available as compensation for the potential signing.

Anaheim has agreed with the BRHL Commissioner that if Colorado does not match this offer, that Anaheim will immediately pay $50.00 for each of the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons so that those 1st round picks are also available as compensation to Colorado for the signing.

I can confirm the legitimacy of Anaheims offer. Payment received, and arrangements made. Thats all we ask guys, let us know so we can approach things with full disclosure, and BEFORE you make offers.
