The Coyotes have extended the contract of Alain Vigneault following a roller-coaster season.  Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Vigneault was fired by the Coyotes during the stretch drive as the team looked to shake things up in trying to make the playoffs.  However, the decision backfired and the team went on a major skid following the firing of Vigneault.

Realizing their mistake the Coyotes re-hired Vigneault as the season wound down and has named him their man for the next two years.
