After much speculation and questions as to where All world goaltender Martin Brodeur would end up at the end of the 2009 season, Brodeur answers, Buffalo.
"I wouldn't want to play anywhere else. In fact, I would like to finish my career here.", a smiley Brodeur replied.
These events come just one day after the Sabres organization had announced a deal that would send bargain goaltender Scott Clemmensen to another Eastern Rival.
GM Luke Wile explains, "Did I want to move Scotty? Absolutely not. But with Marty coming back, Scotty's talent would have been wasted sitting on the bench."
With the Sabres knocking off Divisional rival the Boston Bruins on Thursday night in Game 5, coach Tom Renney has decided to give his team 2 days off from on ice workouts before they start the Eastern Finals against either New York or Atlanta.
