Team America - World Cup Police

After a very disapointing season, GM MacDonald was surprised to be named the General Manager of the United States World Cup team.

"Yeah, I was on the golf course when I got the call.  They must have missed the last 2 months of the season" he said.  "It will be nice for a chance at redemption, after such a disapointing season"

"I've gone thru the non-playoff teams, and am very excited about Team USA's chances.  The roster we are going to field will be top notch, and I fully expect to be playing in the medal round in a few weeks"

While roster details have not been leaked yet, the word is that GM MacDonald has not only finalized his roster, but has figured out the line combinations.  Another rumor is that Rookie sensation TJ Oshie is furious he is being placed on the taxi squad, and had to be talked to by team veterans Mike Modano and Keith Tkachuk.

Details of the roster will be released in the coming days, with GM MacDonald keeping an eye on the BRHL2 playoffs scouting for losers.

If you're looking for a goalie, the Blues won't object to you choosing Jonathan Quick off our prospect list as he will not feature in this year's playoffs...

Won't be allowed unless you get beat out of the playoffs...

Thank you for the offer, but I have a backup plan in place.

My roster is set, I just want to build up the suspense :)

Backus will probably make the team, but still waiting to see what the forward line combinations will be after the first round series are over.

Dont be hating, you are the one begging me to play him. Hopefully, Boston continues to choke and I get Miller.

Already got 5 losers on my team.

And, there is nothing wrong with Scuderi.  I picked the D-pairs with guys who really complement each other, I think it will work out fine.  Scuds high DF will work balancing out an offensive guy or a big hitter who has a weaker defensive numbers.
