Sweden has announced that Coyotes GM Steve Vardy will be putting together the roster for the upcoming World Championships.  Few details beyond this have come out so far, but Vardy has released a very brief press release stating the following:

"I confirm that I will be running the ship so to speak for the the Sweden entry into the upcoming World Championships.  I have little else to say at the moment as I am currently consulting with my team regarding potential players for the tournament.  However, I will state that Anaheim defenseman Nik Lidstrom has been selected as team captain and will have an active role in the decision making for the roster of the Sweden team."
