Antropov (and Nabokov for that matter if he becomes avail) are Kazaks and eligible for the World team

A few questions about eligibility:

Guys who are on farm roster of playoff teams - are they eligible since they aren't being used by their current team?

Guys who are on prospect list of playoff teams - are they eligible since they aren't being used by their current team?

My thinking is that they should not be allowed unless the team is eliminated in the first round and then they would count towards the 5 players we get from first round elimination teams.

If they are allowed, I guess they don't count towards the 5 players from first round elimination teams?

You are correct, they are NOT eligible, unless their teams get knocked out from the playoffs.

Guys who are on prospect list of playoff teams ---> these guys should be eligible if they have ratings as they cant be used by their brhl2 teams anyway. It would be like a euro/college kid/junior player playing in the worlds.

What if the team gave them permission, for example, I wouldn't mind seeing how Jonathan Quick does as a goalie and I wouldn't be using him as a goalie for the playoffs so if Ian wanted to use him and I had no objections, would that be satisfactory? Sort of like the World Juniors exception but with prospects rather than players....
