WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Div 1

CanWest

Slovakia

Can East ( Quebec & Maritimes)

Sweden

World

Div 2

Finland

Czech Republic

CanOntario

USA

Russia

- Each team plays 4 games (1 against each team in its pool).

- Teams are ranked 1-5 in each pool. The 4-5 teams have a 1 game playoff to see who moves on. Then teams are played off as 1 vs (4/5), 2 vs 3, 3 vs 2, (4/5) vs 1

- Each playoff is a 1 game event. With the final being a best of 3. Bronze medal game will be a 1 game series.

- You may select any STHS rated player that is not in the BRHL2 Playoffs.

- You can add up to 5 players who were eliminated in the first round of the BRHL2 playoffs.

- All ratings will be there new STHS ratings & The STHS will be used to simulate games

- Birthplaces are what matter. Robin Regehr was born in Brazil . When I eliminate the Flyers, he could be added to the World team etc.

- If your team finishes in the medals you will be asked back to run that team in the upcoming Olympics. (I plan on the same 10 teams for an Olympic tournament)

Dave,

In this league, less is more.

So I could pick Luke Schenn, correct?

My money is on Sweden and CanWest being the top two teams in the tourney...

Team Ont. is going to be ok, and having the whole USA to pick from should give them a good team.

Because I need to pick 7 or 8 Ontario-born defenders from the worst teams in the BRHL...

... And it would give me a chance to test out his ratings biggrin

From what I've seen so far, I think im going to have a very good team.

Forwards and Defenseman are almost set.  Goaltending is the only big question mark so far.  As of now, Conklin is my starter.  Hopefully Miller or Dipetro lose out in the first round.
