Ian and Kirk lead with 6-8 in first round

Technically, I should be winning because you had Philly making it to the Finals

WEST:

8 - Anaheim vs. 1 - San Jose SHARKS IN 5
7 - Columbus vs. 2 - Detroit Jackets in 6; Steve Mason is this year's Giguere/Ward. He will carry that team til at least the conference finals
6 - St. Louis vs. 3 - Vancouver Nucks IN 6
5 - Calgary vs. 4 - Chicago Hawks IN 7

EAST:

8 - Montreal vs. 1 - Boston BRUINS IN 4
7 - NY Rangers vs. 2 - Washington Craps IN 7
6 - Carolina vs. 3 - New Jersey HURRICANES IN 4
5 - Philadelphia vs. 4 - Pittsburgh PENGUINS IN 5

Not a bad first round.  If I was a betting man, I would def stick to the Eastern Conference.  The ones I got wrong, I got REALLLLLLLLLY wrong.

WEST:
Wings over Ducks in 5
Chicago over Knuckleheads in 6

EAST:
Bruins over Canes in 6
Pens over Crapitals in 7

I actually thought pre-playoff time that Carolina would make it to the cup finals.... i actually think vancouver has a good shot at getting to the cup (especially if they get by the hawks in 4 or 5 games), though if ducks overcome the wings, then i think the job is a lot harder to do...

i went 5 for 8 with one series (detroit sweeping columbus) spot on while three others were one game off...

HAHAHA. Yes. Too funny.

P.S. Screw you Kirk for giving the Pens your kiss of death.

Detroit(2) vs Anaheim(8) WINGS in 6 games
Vancouver(3) vs Chicago (4) NUCKS in 7 games (Home team will win every game)

Boston (1) vs Carolina (6) BRUINS in 6 games (Cam Ward's playoff series streak comes to an end as Boston shows San Jose what a #1 seed is supposed to do)
Washington(2) vs Pittsburgh (4) PENGUINS in 7 games (Varlamov faces a tougher offense, so I don't think he'll be as spectacular. But the Pens secondary scoring will need to do something if they win this series)

In all, these should be four awesome series. To quote Ian, "Gary Bettman has a hard on for this WSH/PIT series." I hope none of the series are shorter than 6 games, unless its a Penguins sweep.

4/8 in the first round clearly I suck.

Anaheim - Detroit -- Ducks in 6
Hawks - Nucks - Hawks in 6

Canes - Bruins - Bruins in 6
Pens - Caps - Caps in 5

Hawks in 5?? The Canucks might not win this series but there is no way Luongo would lose 4 out of 5 games and at this point lose 4 in a row!

LoL I really thought Vancouver wouldn't score 5 goals all series I expected Seabrooke Keith to shut down the Sedins.  I was wrong again.
