Though Steve, never in his actual post did he definitively say that the 10 million was for auction. He offered the potential for another 10 mill.... he then went on to say that he would make a decision at 12am EST.... obviously he didn't get enough in his opinion,

Steve i appreciate you coming to my aid on this, and Gareth I also thank you as well even though I disagree with you about the post, I think the Subject of this post says it all.
A "PM" auction in my opinion is just asking for dirty pool which may or may not have happened here.

Anyhow after hearing the sides of Luke, the heads of the league on a similar issue, I know longer wish to discuss this matter. It is closed as far as I am concerned. I have learned from this experience and will take it with me in future negotiations with the league and other GMs as well.

How many of you have ever sold anything on ebay? 20% of all ebay sales go unsold. I informed everyone of my intentions at the start of the thread. Thank you Garreth and Steve for your feeback. I apologize if this caused any inconvenience.

If you talked to me on deadline day, you know I was working very very hard to try and trade 10 million.

If there is no reserve, and someone makes a bid on e-bay, is the seller allowed to back-out?  Just curious.

Yes if he tries to contact the buyer and the buyer doesn't pay the money and is no where to be found after making the bid.

Humm, I had no idea - it's not really relevant to this argument, but still interesting.
