Want to have a say in the new ratings coming out? I have capped teh fighting rating at 80 for all players so that we don't have the Zach Stortini's of the world with a 100 fighting. The top 40 fighters in the AHL/NHL as voted by you will receive a boost to their fighting rating dependant on where they rank league wide. So here is your chance to vote for the best fighters.
Because fighters often beat others and lose to others that get a true ranking system flawed, there is alot of subjectivity. I would refer everyone to hockeyfights.com to see fight cards, and voted results for fights to get some ideas.
Deadline to post is March 1st. Feel free to discuss and critique. I'll start things off.

Both. I was going to put Phaneuf in the honerable mentions, but I remember for it to be considered a fight the other player would be facing at him, instead of away from him. Oh wait, I have Phaneuf, nevermind.
Which of the 30 punches to the head was it he supposedly hit him with the wristguard? And if so, why didn't he get suspended? Seems like a pretty weak argument for him knocking Weller the F^&* out.

Haha I agree with you I'm just messing around because he's an oiler. Souray knocked him out clean. Only thing is, I have worn wrist guards before and they do add some stability to a punch which might have gone towards how he was shaken up but nevertheless he absolutely landed 3 solid face punches.

Yeah, I agree. I actually think it's really should have nothing to do about whether or not he hit him with the guard. He should not be able to fight with that thing on period. It stabilized his wrist and thus his punches will be much more devastating.
If you really think Ben Eager is on the list, you should youtube the video of the 67 year old Gary Roberts beating the piss out of that little ****. Hit him so hard, he was traded before they played the Penguins again that season.

Instead of having a list of who we think are the best fighters, i suggest checking out a website that tracks the amount of fights a player has and how many times he's won... if he wins 2 out of 3 fights, I would say he deserves the bonus....
