Im one of the few Oiler fans around who will agree that Souray did hit him with his wrist gaurd. However in no way do I believe that is what he intended to do. If you look at how he swung you can tell that he was going for a punch its just that they were so in close at the time that when he swung and missed that was the end result.

After all he didnt need to use his wrist gaurd for anything in this fight

beauty... souray is a beast in his overall game... his DF is so much better this year than the start of last season even is unreal... and he does give you a confidence on the PP when we're looking for him with several passes back for one-timers.. and throw in the fact that every time he fights he wins in dramatic fashion...

by far the best defenseman ive ever seen in an oilers uniform other than CP44.. (coffey was before my viewing life)

definitely a top 8 OV dman in the NHL this year, no way anyone could argue otherwise
