STHS Player Ratings - an OFFICIAL guide

OK this is the Official Guide as to the ratings for the upcoming STHS. I will not delve into specifics, and they may change as I edit things to work properly, but this is what they will be based on.

CK - Checking - Hits/game
FG - Fighting - Majors & ST & CK
DI - Discipline - PIM/game
SK - Skating - Subjective (done by 6 man committee)
ST - Strength - Height & Weight & Majors
DU - Durability  - Icetime per game
PH - Puckhandling - PPTOI/game & SC & PA
FO - Faceoffs - Faceoffs taken/game & faceoff win%
PA - Passing - assists/game
SC - Scoring - goals/game
DF - Defense - PKTOI/game & Shot Blocks/game (different for Dmen and Forwards)
EX - Experience - Career NHL GP
LD - Leadership - EX & Career Playoff Games

Could i suggest that career playoff games count for double?

Using the RObert Lang example posted elsewhere he has a LD of 5 more than his EX, and has played 87 career playoff games, so it does have a fairly weight factor.

Does anyone else agree that Durability should be a combination of ice time per game and games played in the last year(s).

Otherwise there is no hindrance for guys like havlat who notoriously only play 50 games every year and should have it reflected likewise in the sim.

I agree, however, there is nothing in the sim that accounts for DU based on GP, it simply decreases based on IT, and any injuries are random (just like FHL though it has the ratings).

Unfortunately there is nothing in the sim world to account for the Havlat's and COnnollys of the world, though if they play less than 15 games, their stats may be adjusted because the sample size is too small
