easy answer.. as he is 2nd place in my favourite players of all time list.. behind mike modano.....
however the guy most injury riddled..... PAT LAFONTAINE... only 1 season he finished playing all games and lone behold it was a season he will never forget.. including the MAY DAY UPSET of the bruins.. he racks up 148 pts that year... but since then.. was just shattered with injury after injury and a great career goes to rest of what could have been probably a top 7 maybe even top 6 pts of all time guy..
Sad thing is he's easily one of the most fun to watch players when he is healthy - rediculous hands and vision.
He's an interesting Case: 00-01: 82 games 01-02: 82 games 02-03: 80 games 03-04: 0 games - concussion 04-05: lockout - 16 games in switzerland - missed most of the seaosn with concussion still 05-06: 63 games 06-07: 2 games - concussion 07-08: 48 games 08-09: only played about 1/3 of the games
Basicly the **** hit the fan when he got that first concussion - ever since then there are more concussion issues, but he's also been plagued with all sorts of other injuries. I actually think the other injuries are a result of all the time he's missed with concussions. He's never quite 100% in game shape, and likely lacking proper core strength and what not - and it's leading to injuries.
