After a surprising start to the season, the Habituals were smoked in their first regular season loss of the year.
"You know, we didnt expect to start the way we did. We were looking at the long run for making an 8th playoff spot or atleast in the running. GM MacDonald from the 29th place Detroit Redwings has suffered a grade 2 concussion from repeatedly banging his head against his desk every time he looks at the standings page.
It is unclear what kind of long-term effects this will have on the GM, but he is already showing signs of permanent brain damage. Reportedly, he spends his days hiding under his desk, urinating on himself, and repeatedly asking the question "Why is Brooks Orpik outscoring Brett Burns..." over and over and over again. Rumor is he also dances around his office naked, burning Marc Andre Fleury in effigy, but that has not been confirmed.

On a further note, GM Gareth Evans has revealed through his sources that the rumor of GM MacDonald dancing around naked, burning Marc-Andre Fleury are true.
