RE: Update / ESPN FHL

I think your are wrong on this one, Dave.

I believe the cap of 1.5 million is player contract value, not a salary cap for the farm team. It would keep gms from driving up prices on 4th line players and sending them down to the farm to clear their salary once the season starts.

Could be wrong.

and it would take a 15 mil salary to actually be above the 1.5 mil salary if that were the case...

im pretty sure that i am right on this, and wasnt trying to single out nashville....

i was just looking for backup goalies and was checking each teams roster and saw thibault there...

The 1.5 player cap is reflective as to the players salary when they are being paid in full.

It's true that you earn 10% in the farm. But the 1.5 cap ignores the reduction.

Thibault will be called up, that was an oversight on my part by not calling him up.

You can place him on waivers but, if no one claims him, he still stays with the pro team.

Sorry Dave, I didn't see this yesterday. Kevin is correct here.

Dave if you wish to put him on waivers e-mail me the request. Thanks.
