The Edmonton Oilers offices are now confirming that General Manager James Love has made another trade in the BRHL2. The Oilers have aquired defensemen Glen Wesley from the Dallas Stars in exchange for Edmonton's 6th round draft choice in 2009. The deal see's the Oilers aquire a defensemen after two significant deals involving the teams forward group. The defense is seen as the Oiler's weakness as so far only Ruslan Salei, Garnet Exelby, Glen Wesley and Jason Strudwick have BRHL2 experience.
